Field notes: A dense field of crossing strokes fills the sheet edge to edge, gathering into heavier concentrations toward the lower portion. A large open circle sits within the field at the left of center. A smaller solid sphere is partially visible within the field to its right. The circle and sphere occupy the same field as the surrounding strokes but share no clear boundary with them.
