Field notes: A field of framed and bordered objects scattered across the composition without apparent ground plane, intersected by three long linear trajectories converging toward a small dark central node. The framed objects include a target form, a keyhole within a circle, a viewing screen with crosshatched display, a row of progressively shrinking dotted circles, and several nested rectangular frames. A peaked mountain horizon is sketched in the upper portion of the field, but the framed objects do not rest in relation to it.
