Field notes: An ambulatory figure with a bulbous patterned head moves along a horizontal ground plane in the lower right of the composition. The figure’s posture suggests forward motion away from a mountain landscape rendered in the upper portion of the field, where a small ledge containing habitats (or apparatus) and a two trees are visible. The figure’s scale relative to the landscape is inconsistent. The mountain landscape carries two stalked specimens identical in form to those recorded in adjacent items.
